Selecting your Corolle Doll

The size of the Doll must correspond with the age of the child and be proportionate to her size and strength. When she cradles her Baby Doll in her forearm, the child must be able to hold the Baby’s bottom in her hand ... and its head must nestle in the crook of her elbow ... just like a real mummy! An 18-month old will therefore tend to choose a very light, 12” baby doll like Tidoo, and it will only be at about 5-6 years old when a 20” Classic Baby would be more appropriate. If the child is very interested in her mothering skills, wanting to cuddle and feed baby with a bottle, then a Corolle Baby Doll (Calin Charming Bright, Tidoo, Louis Caramel) representing an infant aged 8-12 months is most appropriate. The clothes are especially adapted to suit each baby and the many nursery accessories allow the child to play Mummy. If the little girl would rather have a playmate she wants to comb, dress and play school with, then select a Corolle Doll ( Fleur, Vanilla Blonde) representing a 4-year old girl, who has a wardrobe designed especially for her.
