I started my business in 2006 because I have two small children, Harvey (then 2 now 3 going on 40) and Ava (then 6 months now 2 with heaps of attitude). The original plan was to go back to work and leave them with my poor mum. However, Ava had other ideas - she wouldn't drink from a bottle. So faced with either financial hardship or coming home to a screaming, starving baby every night, I chose to start my own business. Having a business background in I.T and an ex-toyshop manager as a husband, I felt quite safe to step out and try my luck. I am most concerned with sourcing my products from safe, reliable, green suppliers and manufacturers. Which is why I attend the British Toy Fair every year; I get to look at the products before I stock them and meet face-to-face with my suppliers. I don't sell anything I wouldn't happily give to me own children - and I always make sure everything passes the 'Nan' test!Quality Control Panel
